Biography

I am a medical researcher with a background in Biomedical Engineering, interested in the intersection of medical AI, neuroscience, and women’s health.

My research interests focus on women’s brain health, African health datasets, and the development of AI-driven approaches for medical imaging, diagnosis, and healthcare research. I am particularly interested in addressing the underrepresentation of African populations in biomedical research and developing solutions that are relevant to our healthcare context.

My previous work includes research on hormonal influences on brain health in adult African females, low-field MRI development, and the application of deep learning to medical imaging. Through these projects, I have developed experience in research methodology & synthesis, neuroimaging, medical AI, and interdisciplinary healthcare research.

Going forward, I aim to build a career in medical AI and neuroimaging research, with a focus on developing clinically meaningful technologies and contributing to more representative and inclusive healthcare datasets, particularly for African populations and women.
