Applications are open for NeurIPS 2026 Financial Assistance and Volunteering.

NeurIPS 2026 will bring the global machine-learning community together across Sydney, Atlanta and Paris, with virtual participation also available.

The NeurIPS Foundation is offering support to help reduce financial barriers to participation.

Available support includes:

• Complimentary in-person or virtual registration
• Prepaid accommodation in Sydney, Atlanta or Paris
• Volunteer opportunities with registration refunds

Who is especially encouraged to apply?

• Students and junior postdocs
• First-time in-person attendees
• Applicants who would otherwise be unlikely to participate without financial support

A conventional conference paper is not required to apply for financial assistance.

• Application deadline: 6 October 2026, Anywhere on Earth
• Financial Assistance decisions: 14 October 2026
• Volunteer decisions: 20 October 2026

Volunteer applications are currently open for Sydney and Atlanta. Paris volunteering is expected to open later in September.
